It’s time to start preparing to register for the 2026 Teen Angel program!

Registration is from September 16 through October 30. Families can sign up their teen to be part of this year’s program—a program created to ensure every teen in Bowling Green and Warren County schools here in Kentucky can experience the joy of Christmas.

Together, we can make a difference in the lives of local teens.

For details on how to register, check the flyer below or visit www.commed.us/teen-angel

One of my favorites days of the month--a day to honor my sweet son with gifting a little gas money at the pumps!

This guy had that dreaded look as I approached him-I'm sure he thought "Oh Dear, here comes a loon and all I'm doing is trying to put gas in my car" 😂🥴

As I explained my venture he quickly appeared to be relieved and was very gracious.

The guy had on a football shirt (not local and not ProBall).
My sweet son was a BG Football player from 7th-12th grade and that camaraderie is Purple Strong.

I appreciate those that have reached out as they are preparing for their 20th Class Reunion this weekend. I know he would have been there.

As all of our school friends are ready for a break we still have two birthdays to celebrate today with cupcake deliveries!

Thank you to our October Kenzi's Cupcake sponsor Kelli Gilbert Nicks !
I met Kelli in second grade and even though I was only in school for only two weeks that year due to an injury, Kelli has been a friend for many moons!
As we reconnected at the courthouse it was like we were back in second grade again.
She's always been the sweetest and most giving person I know.

Thank you, Kelli, for placing some smiles on this Friday for two sweet children in our community!

Thank you to the Cultivate Kindness Non Profit $10 on the 10th sponsors!

46 Birthday Bags were provided for children and families across our community!

Times are hard and the added expense of a birthday can be frustrating for parents and guardians. With your generous hearts we were able to step in to help.

I hope this makes you smile knowing the positive impact you are making in our community.
