The Brown Bag Food Project is a non profit in Wood County that provides 5-7 days worth of food and toiletries to families in urgent need. 14.8% of residents in Wood County struggle with food insecurity and are unsure of where their next meal is going to come from. The Brown Bag Food Project addresses the emergency need food with limited delivery to people who are completely homebound. We offer a w

ell balanced assortment of both perishable and non perishable items while being able to address any specific dietary restrictions our clients may have. We also provide them with toiletries such as tooth brushes, toilet paper and feminine hygiene products since food stamps do not cover these items. Most importantly we do not deny service to anyone in Wood County and do everything we can to make sure every person is treated with dignity and respect. To receive services:

Please help! We are running low on hygiene items - pretty much every kind! If you are grocery shopping this weekend, could you throw in a few items for Brown Bag Food Project? Donations can be dropped off when we are open (MWF 5-6:30pm). We also have a donation box in front of the building.

Join us this afternoon at Brewing Green as we team up with our friends Ginger and the Snaps to support the !

From 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM, we’re coming together to help fight food insecurity in our community. Here is how your visit makes an impact:

Pints for a Purpose: We are donating $1 from every pint sold!

Pizza with Heart: 10% of all food sales from will go directly to Brown Bag.

Direct Support: We will be accepting monetary donations on-site to be delivered directly to the project.

Come for the music, stay for the best pizza and beer in BG, and leave knowing you helped a neighbor. See you there! 🍕🍻
