On Sunday, October 4th, the Kosair for Kids Face It Movement once again celebrated TEN-4 Day!

Elected officials and community partners raised awareness of the critically important TEN-4-FACESp Bruising Rule, the decision tool to recognize concerning bruising on babies and young children, and emphasized the importance of supporting families to prevent maltreatment.

This week, Kentucky’s child abuse pediatricians and experts will train social workers, health and oral health professionals, educators, nurses, and other concerned adults on the TEN-4-FACESp Bruising Rule and Pediatric Abusive Head Trauma, among other child abuse prevention and recognition techniques.

Keeping kids safe is an adult responsibility.

Today, Family Enrichment Center, Inc. joins our partners at Kosair for Kids and Face It Movement in recognizing TEN-4 Day and raising awareness about recognizing and responding to possible signs of child abuse.

Kids are kids, and bumps and bruises happen. However, certain bruising patterns, especially in young children, can be warning signs that deserve attention.

Knowledge can make a difference. We encourage our community to learn about the TEN-4-FACESp Bruising Rule and how we can work together to protect Kentucky's children.

Celebrating Our 2026 Parenting Education Class Graduates! 💙🎓

Family Enrichment Center’s Parent Education classes are classes where parents learn to focus on strengthening their ability to care for themselves and others while building skills in structure, discipline, positive communication, and nurturing relationships.

Completing this program is something to be proud of. It represents a willingness to learn, grow, reflect, and make meaningful changes that can positively impact not only parents, but their children and families for years to come.
