The Confucius Institute of Western Kentucky will be at the BG International Festival this weekend. We will have authentic Chinese activities and FOOD via our Food Trailer. The menu is below. Tell all your friends to come to our booth and enjoy some good food and have fun.

It's almost time for - September 12 - and we have a full day planned for it at Crane House! Come visit us during our open house to sample some of the Asian cultural activities we bring to your community throughout the year through workshops, field trips and other programming.

Come and join us as we take part in the 2019 Louisville WorldFest. We will have a huge tent full of Chinese cultural activities such as calligraphy, knotting, tea ceremony, hackney sack, papercutting, papercutting, language table, and many many more.

Asia is more than China, thus, our community partner Asia Institute/Crane House will be in our tent sharing non-Chinese Asian culture.

On February 6, 2019, the famous painter Mr. Liu Shuling and his family visited the Confucius Institute at Western Kentucky University (WKUCI) and left precious couplets in the Confucius Institute Chinese Culture Exhibition Center (CEC). Mr. Liu Shuling was invited by the Leu Center for the Visual Art’s Gallery to hold a personal painting and calligraphy exhibition in Nashville, Tennessee. The exhibition was planned and promoted by the American Visual Art Gallery. This exhibition is a breakthrough for Chinese artists to demonstrate the achievements of Chinese painting and calligraphy on the world stage through the Confucius Institute platform. This is also the first solo exhibition of the Art Exhibition for three consecutive years.
