💙 Hospice of Southern Kentucky is hiring a Development Officer!

We’re looking for an energetic, relationship-driven professional to lead fundraising and community engagement efforts throughout our nine-county service area.

This full-time leadership position will focus on:
🤝 Building relationships with donors, businesses, community leaders and healthcare partners
💙 Developing fundraising and donor strategies
🎤 Representing Hospice of Southern Kentucky throughout the community
🎟️ Leading fundraising events and donor activities
📈 Helping grow philanthropic support for our mission

Ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s degree and at least five years of experience in fundraising, business development, sales, marketing or relationship management.

Hospice of Southern Kentucky is looking for a full-time Medical Director to help lead our hospice and palliative care services. 💙

This physician leadership role provides clinical guidance, supports individualized plans of care, collaborates with physicians and care teams, educates staff and community providers, and helps ensure patients and families receive comfort-focused care that honors their goals, wishes, and unique journey.

Candidates must have an MD or DO degree, a current unrestricted Kentucky medical license, valid DEA and NPI registrations, and board certification in primary care or a related specialty. Board certification in Hospice and Palliative Medicine is preferred.

The ideal candidate is a strong clinical leader with a heart for compassionate care, collaborative teamwork, and service to patients and families during one of life’s most important seasons.

We are seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner who is passionate about providing compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals and families navigating serious illness. In this role, the Nurse Practitioner will work closely with our Medical Director and care team to:
🩺 Assess and care for new and established palliative care patients
💙 Help manage pain and other symptoms
👨‍👩‍👧 Educate and support patients and families
📋 Coordinate individualized plans of care
🤝 Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other members of the care team
Candidates must have a current Nurse Practitioner license and a Master’s Degree in Nursing. One year of Nurse Practitioner experience is preferred. If you’re a strong communicator, compassionate caregiver, and team-oriented healthcare professional, we would love to hear from you.

This position includes patient assessment, care planning, symptom management, family support, coordination with physicians and care teams, and helping patients experience comfort and dignity.

Applicants must be licensed to practice as an RN in Kentucky. Nursing experience is preferred, with hospice or home health experience considered a plus.
