Aviation Heritage Park & Museum Stop by for an educational, inspiring, and interactive journey through aviation history. Hours: Open daily from dawn to dusk.

Exhibits include 8 military aircraft and a Piper Cub in honor of Kentucky pilots. The Airpark is open seven days a week, and the museum is open Mon-Sat, 10:00-5:00. A memorial to all distinguished aviators who have called South Central Kentucky home, Aviation Heritage Park currently features seven restored military aircraft and a Piper Cub with very compelling ties to local aviators as well as their own interesting stories.

This year, Aviation Heritage Park & Museum is proud to honor CWO3 Charles Browning, a Bowling Green High School graduate who served as a combat assault helicopter pilot during the Vietnam War.

Flying the legendary UH-1 Huey, Browning carried troops into some of the conflict's most dangerous combat zones. His service included Operation Lam Son 719, one of the largest helicopter operations of the Vietnam War.

For his courage and dedication, Browning earned the Distinguished Flying Cross and an extraordinary 26 Air Medals.

Some aviators fly missions. Others lead them.

Lt. Col. Nathan Baker served as an EA-6B Prowler pilot and Combat Mission Commander with the United States Marine Corps, supporting combat operations during the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

As a Combat Mission Commander, Baker was responsible for coordinating complex missions and helping ensure their success in some of the world's most challenging environments. His leadership, skill, and dedication made him a vital part of modern military aviation.

This year, Aviation Heritage Park & Museum is proud to recognize Lt. Col. Nathan Baker as one of our 2026 Distinguished Aviators.

From Army Ranger to Apache pilot, CW4 Timothy "T-Bone" Vincent built a military career defined by courage, leadership, and service.

A graduate of the U.S. Army Ranger School and former Ranger Instructor, Vincent completed 235 parachute jumps and participated in the opening strike of Operation Desert Storm. He later served as an AH-64 Apache pilot, earning six Air Medals with "V" Device for valor, the Distinguished Flying Cross, Bronze Star, Legion of Merit, and numerous other military honors.

This year, Aviation Heritage Park & Museum is proud to recognize CW4 Timothy "T-Bone" Vincent as one of our 2026 Distinguished Aviators.

Join us on June 20 as we celebrate CW4 Vincent and four other remarkable aviators whose service, sacrifice, and leadership continue to inspire future generations.
