Bowling Green SCA - Marche of the Marshes We are the Bowling Green chapter of the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA). Our interests include art, fighting, cooking, sewing, and more!

The SCA is an experimental archaeology group, dedicated to studying and recreating pre-17th century history. We meet up every week at 7:30PM on Thursday at the Mall. Look for the door with the Marche banner on it!

I just got an email from the Way Library staff, they're hosting a medieval festival on June 20th. That's the weekend before Black Swamp Wargames, and the same day as Baronial Border War and Norborough Faire. It would be cool if we could set up some kind of presence at the library for this event, which is supposed to run from 10 Am to 1 PM that day.

Hello friends, this is another reminder that tonight will not be dance night here at the Marche. We have visitors coming from the north who, if my memory serves, are hoping to fight in a melee. So if you're inclined to, please bring your armor! My current weather forecast is looking pretty great.
