We may be late to posting but it is NOT to late for you all to donate! We will be handing the coats off very soon to the schools to distribute to so many kiddos!

If you have lightly used coats or even want to donate new ones, please do! If you'd like to donate funds towards purchasing coats, that is an option as well!

That’s a wrap on Coats for Kids 2024!!!! The last coats that were delivered over winter break have been dropped off to where they belong!!!

As you all begin your spring cleaning 🧹 🧽 🫧 or purging while trapped in the house this upcoming weekend, remember our program and the needs of area kids before you take your coats that still have life in them to any of the big “thrift” stores!!! Please consider taking adult coats that have been washed to the high school that is closest to your house, and children’s coats to your nearest elementary school.

Thank you for the ongoing support from the community and our partners at Express Laundry Bowling Green, The Bowling Green Police Department, Warren County Sheriff's Office, Greenwood Mall Bowling Green Ky, WBVR 96.7and our amazing FYRSC at Bowling Green Independent School District and Warren County Public Schools!!! We appreciate all of your hard work and dedication to making sure each kid in our community has a coat to keep them warm!!!

We are so incredibly grateful for our sponsors and supporters this year!!!! Express Laundry Bowling Green, The Bowling Green Police Department, Warren County Sheriff's Office, WBVR 96.7, and Chandler Park Dental have been amazing in their efforts to keep kids warm!! We have all coats distributed to schools but had one more large request come in and we need your help!!! Teranga Academy needs 34 more adult sized coats. We have been able to provide 10 of those adult sizes but need the following to fulfill their order. Do you have these in your closet not being worn? Or have you found a great deal on a brand new coat that would keep a kiddo warm this winter?! The current need is:

3 men’s smalls
18 men’s mediums
2 XL men’s
1 women’s XXL

By donating $10, you can help provide one of the 22,000+ students in Warren County Public Schools and Bowling Green Independent School District and other locations like Family Enrichment Center's Wee Care Childcare Center & The Foundry Christian Community Center
with a COAT!

Coats for Kids is underway! Bring your new or gently used coats and Cram the Cruiser at the The The Bowling Green Police Department or the cruiser at the Green Wood Mall with the Warren County Sheriff's Office!!!!! FAQ:

👶-👱 New coats and gently used are preferred of all sizes to fit children daycare- High School.

🦷 Donations can also be made at Chandler Park Dental.

🧤 At this time we only accept Coats. Sweatshirts, fleece jackets, gloves, hats etc are unable to be accepted due to items needing to be washed, paired etc. If wishing to donate these items please consider contacting schools directly, donating to Room In The Inn or the Salvation Army to help those who are unsheltered during the brutal cold time or the International Center for to help those unaccustomed to our cold winters.

❄️ Donations of coats will be distributed directly to all Warren County and Bowling Green City Schools if your child is in need of a coat please reach out to the Family Resource Youth Service Center at your child’s school to let them know of your need.

🧥 If your organization or business would like to participate in a coat drive with us reach out to us in Messenger!! We would love to partner with you to help the children in our community!

Coats For Kids: Presented by Bowling Green Junior Woman’s Club is celebrating 32 years!🙌

Just for a moment imagine the amount of coats that have been given to kids. If that doesn't give you goosebumps I don't know what will.

To celebrate we want to raise $320 to kick start the 2024 season. Behind the scenes of Coats for Kids is the Bowling Green Junior Woman's Club watching for end of the year discounts & sales. As these deep discounts roll around, we buy up as many Coats as possible.

We would love to have the community help us hit our goal of $320 to kick off 2024 season & to celebrate 32 years!

Here is how to donate this Coats for Kids season!

*We are currently running short on donations and are struggling to fill some school's needs! The most need we have are (middle & high school) XS, S, M, and L coats for both boys and girls or gender-neutral coats!

🧥Please consider picking up some coats over the next couple of weeks so we can make sure to keep these kiddos warm!

We will start delivering 🛻 coats 🧥 this week to schools 🏫 trying to beat the really cold ❄️ weather that we know will be here before we know it! We are currently running short on donations and unable to fill orders for 7 elementary schools in our area!!! The most need we have are XS, S, M, L coats for both boys and girls or gender neutral coats! ✅ Updated to add that we are also in need of Adult sizes Small, Medium, L, and XL for our high school kids!

Please consider picking up some coats these next couple of weeks so we can make sure to keep these kiddos warm!
