We previewed our new website yesterday and it’s looking good. On 1/1/2025 we will begin using our new regional name Central Rappahannock River Habitat for Humanity. We will continue to use our .org email addresses for several months in 2025 as we phase in new contact info.

Thank you!

We're celebrating by awarding our 2024 Community Grants and Employee Charitable Giving Fund. We want to thank all of the outstanding applicants for their excellent work toward improving local communities for all Virginians.

Congratulations to our Annual Employee Charitable Giving Fund recipients: Boys & Girls Club of the Northern Neck and Healthy Harvest Food Bank!

Congratulations to this year's Grant Awardees:

Habitat for Humanity of Caroline County/ Essex County Habitat for Humanity / Habitat for Humanity of King and Queen County
The Caroline County Habitat for Humanity is committed to safe and affordable housing for their teachers and first responders program and will use their NNINS grant funds to administer and cover supplies for their Self-Help, Teachers, and First Responders Programs.

Kilmarnock Museum
The mission of Kilmarnock Museum is a non-profit organization that preserves and promotes the history of Kilmarnock. They plan to use their grant funds to restore and repair windows and the plaster walls.

Northern Neck Botanical Gardens
A non-profit inspirational outdoor education center for all to enjoy in the Northern Neck region, the gardens will use its grant funds for initial site surveying, design, and planning.

Reedville Fishermen's Museum - RFM
Incorporated in 1986, this venue provides opportunities for Virginians to learn about the culture and history of the Chesapeake Bay. Grant funds will be used to create and promote outdoor exhibit signage and collect and conserve maritime history and heritage.

The Heart Leaf Center
This Fairfax non-profit is the only mental health organization improving access to high-quality play therapy mental health services for children and families through low-cost services and professional education for Virginians in NOVa. The NNINS funding allows three new children and their families to receive weekly mental health counseling.

Chris's Coffee & Custard
LovABLE SERVICES, Inc. is dedicated to providing a comprehensive workforce training program and support services to individuals with intellectual, developmental and physical disabilities with the goal of being employed at Chris’s Coffee & Custard. Their NNINS grant funds will be used to secure a permanent location.

Northern Neck Sail and Power Squadron
Part of the United States Power Squadrons/America's Boating Clubs, Sail and Power Squadron is a non-profit boating organization dedicated to helping people enjoy boating activities safely. Grant funds will be used to partner with Northern Neck Technical Center to provide students with the education to achieve their VA Lifetime Boaters Certification required for graduation from the Marine Trade and Small Engine Repair Program.
