One more day of this year's Welcoming Week (September 10-19, 2026)
Through Welcoming Week, organizations and communities bring together neighbors of all backgrounds to build strong connections and affirm the importance of welcoming and inclusive places in achieving collective prosperity.

This year Welcome BG's theme for this week has been "SIMPLE KINDNESS".
"Small acts of kindness in the overwhelming face of uncontrolled violence and disaster are an essential reaffirmation of humanity when it feels most eclipsed by cruelty and hatred".
(Bill Frelick - Director, Refugee and Migrant Rights Division)

I hope this week and beyond we each find opportunities to be intentionally kind to everyone.
