This is the kind of story we love to tell! Meet Wishbone.
He was found by a good samaritan in such a sorry state. His leg was badly broken and infected, long past the possibility of saving it.
When we heard the description we prepared for the worst, assuming we would only be able to end his suffering.
As Wishbone was on his way to us, a volunteer made a donation in memory of a family member and we knew what we had to do.
Special thanks to Midway Animal Hospital for the amazing quality care you gave this little guy!
Wishbone is in foster-to-adopt with his finder who was so relieved to hear the story they had to take him home!

It's important to remember that as we go into fall, there is increased risk of exposure for pets and for you! Regular flea & tick (as well as heart worm!) prevention protects your pets, family and home from risk of illness and infestations!
