All honorably discharged veterans of any branch are invited to join us for our monthly meeting this Monday June 24, 2024 at 1900.

The meeting will take place at the Bowling Green VFW located at 719 S Main Street. There is plenty of parking in the rear of the building.

Thank you to all the amazing volunteers that helped place flags at veteran’s graves in the Wood County Memory Gardens and Oak Grove Cemetery today.

If any family has a loved one that needs honored with a flag and was mistakenly missed today, please contact us through this page.

Calling all veteran artists to enter the 6th Biennial Art Exhibit of Northwest Ohio.

The exhibit is to highlight the artistic talent of veterans through painting, photography, sculpture, literary, etc. It is not a juried exhibit, however a 2-month long art display.

The speaker is Peg Trout, Navy veteran and author of "Women in War".

Are you looking a way to get a free day pass into the Wood County Fair this year? We have the answer for you! Post 45 of the American Legion is looking for volunteers to help in the food stand during the fair. When you volunteer you get a free day pass to the fair. We ask that you work a minimum of 3 hours to make scheduling easier.
