National Prescription Drug Take Back Day
October 24, 2026, 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
City residents can bring unused or expired prescription medications to the Police Department for disposal. Drug Take Back Day is a national event sponsored by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) that provides residents with a safe, legal way to dispose of unwanted medication. The police department will not accept syringes, aerosol cans, or needles.
