Jummah Mubarak sis,

This week, we said it plainly: alignment is a verb.

It’s not just what we feel on a Wednesday or pray for on a Friday. It’s what we live — in the small choices, the quiet no’s, the daily yeses to the woman we’re becoming.

And Jummah is where those choices get their strength.

Every Friday is a chance to be re-rooted. To let the khutbah remind you. To let the du’a re-anchor you. To leave the masjid — or your prayer mat — different than you came.

So today, don’t just pray for alignment. Ask Allah to help you walk in it.

To make the aligned choice easier.
To make the misaligned one harder.
To surround you with people, spaces, and rhythms that pull you closer to Him.
Because realignment isn’t just an inner shift. It’s a life that begins to look like the du’as you’ve been making.

“And whoever fears Allah — He will make for him a way out, and will provide for him from where he does not expect.” — Qur’an 65:2-3

May Allah honor the work you’ve done this month, sis. And may your steps carry it forward.

Jummah Mubarak sis,

This week, we set intentions. We got honest about who we’re becoming and what we’re realigning toward. We wrote it down. We spoke it over ourselves.

And today, we bring it to Allah.

There is no better place to plant an intention than in sujood. No better witness than the One who already knows what your heart is reaching for. This Jummah, don’t just show up out of habit — show up with your niyyah in your hands.

Ask Allah to align your steps with your intention.
Ask Him to remove what stands between you and it.
Ask Him to make you the woman you’re praying to become……

Alhamdullilah! The kids had their own social! Our Back to School Social for the kiddos was an amazing time! We talked about how students can transform their school day into worship by setting sincere intentions, pursuing excellence (itqan) in their work, and staying mindful through small moments of gratitude, self-control, and remembrance of Allah. The goal isn’t just academic success — it’s carrying your deen into every classroom and letting your character reflect the beauty of your faith.

Thank you to Ajeenah Abdul | Wellness Practitioner for guiding our littles to mindfulness, movement, and breathing techniques that can be used throughout the day!

Jummah Mubarak sis,

This week, we talked about release. About the weight we’ve been holding that was never ours to carry. About the quiet courage it takes to let go.

And today, Allah gives us the perfect container for that release: Jummah.

There’s something sacred about Friday — the way it invites us to lay our burdens down, if only for a few hours. To bow. To ask. To be reminded that we were never meant to hold it all alone.

So today, whatever you’ve been gripping — a worry, a person, a version of yourself that no longer fits — bring it to sujood. Let your forehead touch the ground and let your hands open.

Release it into the only ones that can truly hold it…..

Jummah Mubarak sis,

This week, we began the month with a simple invitation: notice.

Notice where you’ve drifted. Notice what you’ve been carrying on autopilot. Notice the parts of your life that are asking — quietly — for your attention.

And what better day to sit with that than Jummah?

Friday is a mercy. A weekly reset. A pause built into the rhythm of our lives so we don’t miss ourselves in the noise. So today, before the du’as and the khutbah, before the errands and the evening — take a moment.

Ask Allah to show you what you haven’t been seeing.

Not to fix. Not to change. Just to see. Because clarity is a mercy, and awareness is where realignment begins.
