These are just a few ways Raw Beauty, an initiative of the Atikal Foundation, has made an impact on those who have lived through cancer and domestic abuse. The Atikal Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, launched in 2010; and we
believe that love heals! Our mission is to empower victims of cancer and domestic abuse through love, faith, laughter, and artistic expression… sharing the beauty and resilience of a community who have experienced so much. WHAT WE DO WELL: LEAD BY EXAMPLE
Service and collaboration is the name of our game. We provide feel-good experiences to underserved communities empowering them to heal, be free from fear, guilt and shame - and know they are valued. We collaborate with other non-profit, for-profit, and government organizations to serve and educate victims/patients/survivors. We host community events and count on our Beauty Ambassadors to raise awareness, recruit supporters and share the spirit of our mission. We are supported 70% by the sale/sponsorship of our annual signature calendars, and 30% by private donations....and YES, 100% of all funds raised support our programs and events.
