This afternoon the LEMM’s faithful stewards went out to Montgomery County to serve the sheltered, vehicle dwellers, and homeless. As always, we prayed and sanctified the grounds before serving. A few came for prayer, some were ministered to, and one Brother, Gene, surrendered his life to Christ Jesus.
Please join me in continuing to pray that Gene will be completely permeated by God's character, goodness, power, and His presence. As well, join me in prayer concerning this specific area of the impoverished, the destitute, and illegal alcohol and drug dependents. These and others may be impacted by systemic inequities that go largely unmet.
Many thanks to all of our donors and servant ministers. Your contributions both spiritually, and naturally looked like the compassion of Christ and His Holy Scriptures in action.
Scriptures:
Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men. Colossians 3:23
Do not lack diligence; be fervent in spirit; serving the Lord. Romans 12:11
But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do. James 1:25
