Our Goal: to ensure protection of the environment based on three essential environmental pillars:, water, air and land; to ensure preservation as well as conservation of other natural resources that are now on the brink of extinction; to offer environmental educational and public awareness for the benefit of African residents and seek collaboration with international NGOs, governmental institutions, Community-Based Organizations (CBO), Faith-Based Organization (FBO), Youth Based Organization (YBO) and the business community that support such national endeavors. AEW belief is that an unhealthy environment affects every functionaries of the human being and certainly impairs social, economic and spiritual growth, which has the propensity to provoke political tension. AEW will employ a workable, achievable and measurable approach based on established scientific benchmarks through community orientation and engendering relevant environmental policy. AEW goal is to have its physical presences in all countries in Africa, an approach of “one country” at a time concept is being adopted as the pilot initiative. However, through AEW’s E-Newsletters and its quarterly magazine, Africa’s environmental advocacy will be a robust priority with connections through AEW’s affiliates in various part of Africa. AEW has physically established a presence in Liberia and is expanding in the entire Minor River Union Basin, which includes the other province Sierra Leone, Ivory Coast, and Guinea. Though, the intent of AEW is to have physical presences in all countries in Africa, but due to scarce resources, an approach of “one country” at a time concept is being adopted as pilot initiatives. However, through AEW’s E-Newsletters and quarterly magazine, continental environmental advocacy as it relates to Africa, will be a robust priority with connections through AEW’s affiliates in various part of Africa. AEW is physically in Liberia now and is expanding in the entire Minor River Union Basin, which includes (Sierra Leone, Ivory Coast, Guinea and Liberia) and will progress incrementally in parts of Africa as it becomes necessary.
