A huge thank you to the National Association of Letter Carriers and our local community for their incredible participation in the annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive on Saturday, May 9, 2026.

Because of the hard work and dedication of the letter carriers and the generous donors, we received a tremendous collection of canned goods that will help support individuals and families in our community facing food insecurity.

Thank you to all the volunteers that helped make this event successful. Thank you to the Men's Basketball Team at Bowie State University for making multiple trips to the Post Office and loading all of the donations. This was no small task.
We are so grateful for their partnership and support of our mission.

We invite individuals and groups to join our Adopt-a-Shelf Program! By adopting a shelf, you'll help keep it stocked throughout the year. You can choose to donate weekly, biweekly, or monthly-whatever works best for you.

The Pantry is currently seeking adopters for the following shelves:
Canned Spam
Canned Chicken
Canned Tuna
Canned Beefaroni
Peanut Butter
Granola Bars/Snack Bars/Cereal Bars
Individual Packs of Nuts/Trail Mix
