This looks like such a great event!

Thank you to STROB Apothecary for being such a great support!! 🌈🌈🌈

The Fourth is complicated here, and we won't pretend otherwise. So we're doing the most STRŌB thing we can think of instead: gathering the people we love to celebrate the freedom we do have; the freedom to be exactly, unapologetically ourselves. 🏳️‍🌈

We're calling it Free-to-Be Day.

🗓️ Saturday, July 4th · 12–5pm

Here's the plan:

🌈 Iced Let Your Freak Flag Chai, poured all day
🎶 Snacks to share + music from our favorite marginalized artists
💧 Make-your-own roll-on station with rainbow crystal chips — walk in anytime
💛 10% of the day's sales go to Bowie PFLAG

Come as you are. Bring who you love. Sip something cold, make something beautiful, and take up a little space with us.

📍 Inside Vega Therapy Services · 2111 Baldwin Ave, Suite 1, Crofton MD

Save this, tag your people, and we'll see you Saturday. ✨

Movie Screening and Discussion at Ark and Dove Presbyterian Church
June 20th at 7pm
Register at arkanddove.org/scrutiny

Please join us for a screening and discussion of the film Heightened Scrutiny on Saturday, June 20th. Doors open at 7:00 pm, movie and discussion from 7:30 - 9:30 pm in the Sanctuary. You can RSVP at arkanddove.org/scrutiny

HEIGHTENED SCRUTINY follows Chase Strangio, ACLU attorney and the first out trans person to argue before the Supreme Court, as he fights a high-stakes legal battle to overturn Tennessee's ban on gender-affirming care for transgender youth (U.S. v. Skrmetti/L.W. v. Skrmetti). The film exposes the dangerous role of mainstream media in fueling anti-trans legislation, uncovering how biased coverage drives hate, endangers lives, and threatens democracy itself.

With insights from journalists such as Jelani Cobb, Lydia Polgreen, and Gina Chua, and activists like Laverne Cox, the story dismantles anti-trans disinformation and highlights its devastating real-world impact. With the dangerous SCOTUS decision upholding the ban on life-saving healthcare, HEIGHTENED SCRUTINY is an urgent call to action against bigotry and injustice.

Please join us at Ark & Dove Presbyterian Church, 8424 Piney Orchard Parkway, Odenton, MD at 7:30 pm for a screening and discussion. Doors open at 7:00 pm for coffee, tea, and light refreshments.

A rainbow windsock. A knock on the door. A chapter is born.

A rainbow windsock told a young person that Connie's home might be a safe place to knock. That knock became
a conversation. That conversation became a chapter. Today, PFLAG Bowie/Prince George's County helps more
families, parents, grandparents, allies, and LGBTQ+ people find support, understanding, and community

Hi PFLAG Bowie Fans! Our latest blog post has an update about our schedule for Pride Month! We hope to see you out and about!🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

We had so much fun spending time together to play games, create art, and share food at our Family Happy Hour after the last No Kings rally in March. We got together with new friends and long-time friends to strengthen our connections and simply to enjoy hanging out instead of always working together...
