Today God blessed us to provide brand new, quality winter coats to students attending Kettering Elementary School, and Andrew Jackson Academy, both located in Prince George County, Maryland. Accompanying our CEO, Dr. Shirley Cason Reed were COO, Rev. Granville W. Reed IV, and members Bill and Josephine Franklin, who we thank for transporting the coats to each school. We also wish to show appreciation to board member Renee Brooks, as well as our worship director, Rev. Christina D. Reed for identifying the schools. Thanks also go out to Dr. Viola Lynch Principal, and Mr. Taylor Watson Community Coordinator at Kettering Elemtary, and the staff at Andrew Jackson Academy. Our biggest thanks goes out to those who so graciously donated and made this effort possible. Of course, all glory goes to God, the one who truly provides.

On today, International Women’s Day, we celebrate all women; past, present and future. While we honor the historical accomplishments of exceptional women around the world, we recognize that greatness resides in all women. We hope all women celebrate yourselves today, knowing your importance to everything you touch. Your greatness is natural, effortless and inherent. You were created to make this world better: and indeed, without you these trying times would be even worse. May God bless the lives of every woman, and may every woman feel appreciated and celebrated daily. You are natural born difference makers, don’t ever forget that fact.

We can’t wait to bring our community together to support our mission of empowering people, ending hunger and poverty and overcoming hardships! We strive to provide services such as rental/medical/food/utility assistance, necessities,and disaster relief to ALL people and communities regardless of socioeconomic status.
