We are incredibly honored to celebrate and recognize Mother Rhonda Exum on being named the 2026 Distinguished Mother of the Year. ๐๐ฉท
Since joining the Prince Georgeโs County Chapter in 2012, Mother Rhonda has exemplified grace, compassion, leadership, and unwavering dedication to our chapter, our children, and the community. Her service has consistently reflected the true spirit of Jack and Jill โ leading with humility, heart, and purpose.
Over the years, Rhonda has made a lasting impact through her extensive community service and leadership, including:
โจ Serving as Community Service Co-Chair from 2014โ2018
โจ Helping lead impactful MLK Day of Service initiatives
โจ Supporting outreach efforts including the Prince Georgeโs County Diaper Baby Shower
โจ Serving on the Nominating Committee, Bylaws Committee, and as Chapter Historian
โจ Contributing to the Chapter Catalyst Awards Committee
โจ Playing an instrumental role in the success of the 2022 Eastern Region Teen Conference
โจ Sponsoring and welcoming new members while strengthening sisterhood across the chapter
โจ Supporting logistics and chaperoning efforts for COPA and Teen Conference activities
โจ Securing community partnerships and resources for meetings and service projects
Beyond the titles and accomplishments, Rhonda is known for her authenticity, reliability, and ability to bring people together with love and encouragement. Her quiet strength, generosity, and commitment have touched countless lives and helped shape the culture and success of our chapter.
