Bowdoinham Community Development Initiative - BCDI BCDI is a resourceful citizen partner to the Town helping to stimulate and sustain the community. BCDI is a 501 (C) 3 non-profit organization.

BCDI leverages local resources and facilitates collaboration among the for-profit, non-profit, and government sectors to promote sustainable economic and community development. BCDI has created the capacity to provide capital (directly or indirectly) to local enterprises which have an additional public benefit, to provide information and linkages to catalyze local entrepreneurial initiatives, to s

erve as an on-the-ground partner to the many mid-coast, regional and state-wide initiatives seeking to preserve farmland and increase the quality and strength of the food economy in Maine. BCDI is a low cost, high value asset of the community, for the community.

We are rolling through our final week of Membership Month, and want to thank those of you who have signed up or renewed your membership! If you have not done so, please consider doing so :)

Your membership does two important things for BCDI.

- Direct Funding of Community Operations; including Neighbors Investing in Neighbors Loan Program, Farmland Inventory, and Community Conversations

- Supportive Engagement; Providing a vote of confidence for our mission and role as a community organization

Your involvement in our unique organization enables BCDI to support the kind of community we are proud to call home.

Membership dues begin at only $10, with several ways to pay:

TO-GO meals will be available, as well. We can accept cash, check, and credit cards. All proceeds go directly to supporting BCDI’s programs.
