- Vegetable Soup
- Savory Bread Pudding with Vegetables
- Brown Rice and Lentil Salad
- Italian Pasta Salad

We're trying to ketchup on a few pantry favorites!

We're running low on shelf-stable condiments like ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, salad dressings, and similar items. These small extras help turn pantry staples into meals people enjoy.

If you'd like to donate, smaller bottles are especially helpful because they allow us to share with more households. Donations can be dropped off at the pantry on Wednesdays between 10:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. (or get in touch if that doesn't work for you). Shelf-stable items may be left anytime in the donation box at the Post Office.

Thank you for helping us keep our shelves stocked and our community well dressed.

Come help us celebrate National Eat Your Vegetables Day today!

We will be open from 4-6pm with all the usual goodies, plus a variety of fresh salads to eat here, and to take home.

We also have lots of packaged meals this week, including:

- BBQ Pulled Pork
- American Chop Suey
- Pasta with Meatballs
- Mac & Cheese
- Tortellini Salad

If you've ever wondered about what we do at the Bowdoinham Food Pantry, we hope you'll stop by tomorrow to say hi.

This will be a very low-key event; no pressure, no expectations. We do several high-profile events each year, but this isn't one of them. This is just a chance for anyone who'd like to know more about what we do to stop by, say hi, and get to know us.

We’re committed to making sure that none of our friends and neighbors are hungry. If that matters to you, in any way, we'd love to meet you.

Today's the day! The Bowdoinham Sharing Table is officially open.

The table is stocked and ready for the community. Come take a look, pick up what you need, or leave something to share. We're excited to see this new community resource come to life and grateful to everyone who helped make it happen.

A heartfelt thank you to Carly and The Minnis Sanctuary in Bowdoin for donating extra bags of dog food to our food pantry!

We are very grateful for this generous donation. One of the most rewarding parts of this work is seeing nonprofits help one another in their shared mission of caring for our neighbors. Thanks to this generosity, families visiting the pantry will have additional resources to help care for their dogs.

Thank you, Carly, for your compassion, community spirit, and the wonderful work you do through Minnis Sanctuary. We're grateful to have partners like you helping make our community stronger.

A simple idea with a big impact: neighbors helping neighbors. The Bowdoinham Sharing Table is a place where anyone can give what they can and take what they need. Stop by the covered porch at the Bowdoinham Public Library and see what's available—or leave something to share with the community.

Starting June 1, Maine residents can apply for the Maine Senior FarmShare Program, which provides a $50 share of fresh, local fruits, vegetables, herbs, and honey at no cost.

To qualify: Maine resident, meet income guidelines, and be 60+ (55+ for Native Americans, or 18+ with a disability in qualifying housing).
