Bowdoin Flurry Flyers

Bowdoin Flurry Flyers The Bowdoin Flurry Flyers is a Snowmobile Club based in Bowdoin, Maine.

The Club is affiliated with the Maine Snowmobile Association and our primary focus is the 37 miles of snowmobile trails located within the Town of Bowdoin. We work closely with the other snowmobile clubs whose trails connect with ours as they are part of an extensive network of trails throughout the state.

All of the trails in our system have either been groomed or will be soon. We have added a tracked Chevy Blazer to the fleet so please keep your eye out for it.
Lastly, PLEASE stay on the marked trails. Not doing so will result in trails being closed.

This is a very good way to get a trail shut down- sleds going outside the trail markers and even running a marker over. There has been a sign at that location for several years that reads “Please stay on marked trail or lose it. Period”. If it wasn’t for generous landowners, we wouldn’t have any trails. Please respect the trails and property you ride on.

All of our trails have either been groomed or will be tonight. The conditions are the best they have been in several years.

SNOWMOBILE CLUB NEEDS YOUR HELP!!

Bowdoin Flurry Flyers Snowmobile Club Announces
A Drawing For Non-Members…..

We have a real need for extra help with the trails this winter after the recent ice and storms. If you enjoy using the trails, whether snowmobiling or snowshoeing or on skis, come lend us a hand to keep them open.

For each time you help us with trail maintenance during this winter, we will enter your name in a drawing for a $50 gift certificate at Hannaford’s.

The drawing will be held in late March. The winner will also be invited to our annual Landowner Appreciation Dinner in early April.

To help out and get your name in for the drawing, call Doris Marquis at 666-3757 or John Johnson at 353-7379.

We plan two working days the next two Sunday mornings, January 15th and 22nd. Show up at 8:00AM at the Bowdoin Town Store and we will put you to work for an hour or three. The rest of the winter, call to let us know that you would like to help out.
