Oh Wayne! This senior boy has been passed over and passed over because he is not a fan of cats and he would like he be your one and onlyšŸ˜­We are really hoping that his luck is going to change! While he has the no cats and heā€™s picky about other dogs, he ADORES kids, and would love to cover them in his kisses, or snuggle up beside them, and greet them at the bus stop! He is a beautiful leash walker, and loves getting outside for walks and will absolutely sniff the entire day if you let him! He is house trained, crate trained, and extremely food motivated so heā€™d love to do anything that might end up with him getting a treat! He is waiting patiently, WE are impatiently waiting because we know he is so worth it! Hey wonderful community! Spring means we are in the thick of kitten seasonā€¦ and boy we are feeling it!!! We have many kittens in need of foster homes(these are just a couple). We are looking for foster homes that are able to have a quiet space for kittens to start to learn that people are okay, to heal, and become happy little kittens! Right now they are heckin confused and are very much in need of a safe place to be. While this is the sanctuary, foster homes are HUGE in helping these babies thrive with one on one time. We provide ALL necessities, and anything that you might need. We provide ALL medical care which is covered by the sanctuary. We support you every step of the way, and are here to answer any question or concern that you might have. Please help us give these babies a chance at a happy futurešŸ„¹ā¤ļø

UPDATE: Max is ADOPTED! Happy days bub!
Meet 6 month old, Max!
This young playful fun pup is everything youā€™d dream for a young dog! Believe it or not, he was on the euthanasia list because he had a broken legšŸ˜« and he only had hours left before we saw him andā€¦well we werenā€™t going to let that happen! He was in a cast for a while, heā€™s healed beautifully and now runs and plays like a normal puppy!
Heā€™s awesome with dogs, cats, kids, and while he plays hard he also is happy to lounge hard too! Nap time on a couch with you, is a no brainer for himšŸ¤£
He is working non his house training and crate training and doing awesome! His adorable ears, and wiggly lil tail, are always so cheerful and will bring a laugh to you every day. Hes extremely smart and highly food motivated which will make for an excellent training partner! If youā€™d like to add this goober to your family, apply to adopt him, today!

Tucker got a pup cup from Mainely Custard yesterday, and is hoping that while he was a little mortified by taking a picture as a moose, he hopes it will show his goofy side and his family will apply to adopt him!

Have you ever wanted to meet a dog described as the ultimate couch hippo supreme? Nowā€™s your chance! Meet 8 year old sublime, Tucker! This GORGEOUS tank of love, is a rescue favorite having cemented himself in our hearts with his calm, gentle, and hilarious nature. Tucker in his 8 years of life was in and out of a kill shelter in Texas three times. Every time being found as a stray againšŸ˜­We donā€™t understand why because heā€™s genuinely amazing, but we are grateful heā€™s here! Tucker is great with all dogs, easy with cats, and loves everyone including kids. Carly says that every good synonym out there would describe this boyā¤ļøHe is house trained, easy to walk, good in the car, and doesnā€™t like the crate but itā€™s okay because he actually doesnā€™t need one!

Meet Phineas! Heā€™s 15 lbs of sass, hilarious side eye moments, gentle kisses, and zoomies that will make you cry from laughter! Phineas is 2 years old, crate trained(though he doesnā€™t need it) and he is amazing with dogs, cats and kids!
Phin is currently healing his skin from lack of care and poor health, and had polyps in his ears that trapped bacteria which then festered into painful and infected ears. Despite being in a lot of pain, until his healing began(bilateral total ear ablation aka ear canals removed, he can still hear no problem) he is so sweet and loving! He would be happy to be a family dog, or be with someone retired who wants a low key dog, or as a best friend to a solo person, honestly heā€™d fit in to any situation, as long as he is loved! If youā€™d like to meet this little muffin, please send in an application!

We feel supremely lucky to have so many wonderful supporters and friends who are constantly sharing available babies who are waiting for their forever homesā€¦ but these take the cake! We are so grateful to our friend Zoe McNally and her 3-5 grade students who took the time to draw up adoption posters of some of our adoptable kiddos! Honestly it made us tear up, and we love them so so much!
Luckily, a few of the dogs have since found their forever homes, or are pending homes, but we are going to share their posters anyways because they are so cute!
To the students who took the time to draw these, you have the best hearts, and we truly appreciate you so much and you all are incredible artists! Not only did they create this beautiful art, but they also donated, food, treats, litter, p*e pads, and so many more amazing and treasured items that will be helping out our sanctuary animals!

UPDATE: Mary is ADOPTED! Happy happiest days sweetheart!

Oh our ever so beautiful, Mary is waiting, searching and dreaming of her forever home!
Between 3-4 years, Mary is a big gal, weighing in between 90 and 100 pounds!
This glorious goofball, is good with cats, dogs and kids! Sheā€™s house trained, and kennel trained(though she will bark occasionally in indignation). She is your typical stubborn Pyrenees, but that also means that sheā€™s one of the best dogs that youā€™ll meetā¤ļø sheā€™s extremely playful, and loves to run and play with balls, sheā€™s outrageously sweet and wants to cuddle with you on any occasion, and her favorite place to be snuggled up in bed with you!
Sheā€™s an absolute love bug, and she would love to find a forever family with you! If you are interested in needing this fluffy polar bear, please send in an application!
Per normal, those were great Pyrenees experience, are greatly appreciated, and those with a fenced in yard, due to Pys needing a visual boundary!

Our delightful ham of a dog, King Humphrey has been waiting A LONG time, and has had very little interestšŸ˜¢
This sweet and energetic 1-3 year old boy is supremely snuggly, fully kennel trained, food motivated, so much so that heā€™ll try to counter surf, but heā€™s so short he canā€™t reach the counteršŸ¤£He is housetrained, which is awesome, and heā€™s good in the car! Heā€™s good on leash mostly though he can get get excited, and heā€™s a good sport, so heā€™ll get there! Heā€™s a wild child with playing with other dogs, and loves to play with other dogs, and when itā€™s just him, he settles down beautifully! Heā€™s going to be a great family dog with kids older than 10, NOT because heā€™s aggressive, but because heā€™s so playful, and younger kids may be more easily knocked over by his exuberance and zest for life. But if you have dog savvy kids that also might be very different! King Humphrey is good with cats, and is going to make a family extremely lucky.
