With your support, the BSF was able to grant money to the elementary school for some new things for PE class. These fun additions will encourage teamwork, active play, and healthy movement - but most importantly: to have fun.

While you’re on your parts run this week, make sure to put your name on some squares! The board can be found at Premier Equipment in Bowdle!
We have a goal….. we want to have NO squares left by the time Pheasant Phest rolls around! Help us get there?!

We’re officially less than 2 weeks away from our Pheasant Phest fundraiser! While the event is primarily about raising money to support the youth in our community in a huge variety of ways, it’s also a great opportunity to get everyone together for fun and fellowship. We love putting Pheasant Phest on for all of those reasons!

It’s Pheasant Phest Month!!
Our Pheasant Phest fundraiser helps support students by funding school-wide subscriptions to IXL, PowerSpelling, and the Accelerated Reader (AR) Program every year. Though they are not the “most fun,” they are our biggest annually recurring investments into the school.
If you’re not familiar with any of the listed programs, let us tell you just how important they are! These programs help students learn different subjects in a variety of ways:
➕✖️➖➗IXL provides personalized practice in math, language arts, science, and social studies, helping students strengthen skills at their own pace.
🔠PowerSpelling engages students in interactive spelling practice that improves vocabulary, spelling accuracy, and confidence in writing.
📚Accelerated Reader (AR) encourages reading growth by allowing students to read books at their level and take quizzes to measure comprehension and earn recognition for their progress.
👩‍💻👨‍💻Gimkit turns learning into a fun, game-based experience where students review and reinforce classroom concepts through interactive challenges and friendly competition.
By providing access to these tools, our foundation is helping students develop strong academic foundations while giving teachers valuable resources to support learning and track progress.
We believe every student deserves opportunities to succeed, and we are grateful to our supporters who make investments like this possible. 📖🍎

Hey, BookWorms🪱 the gun board will be at the Library this week! Purchase a square (or 5…). Don’t wait! We’re hoping to fill all 169 squares BEFORE Pheasant Phest!

We’re excited to start sharing some of the items that have been generously donated by our wonderful sponsors. This kids electric golf cart is sure to be a hit. Grab your ticket for the adult size Yamaha golf cart so you and your little one can pull up to the clubhouse next summer in style ;)
If you wish to donate to our Pheasant Phest fundraiser, items can be dropped off at Beadle Ford, CorTrust, the library (all in Bowdle) or picked up by one of our members.

These two items the BSF helped an elementary teacher purchase may seem small, but they matter!
The oversized money and place value cards provide a hands on, visual resource to help students better understand counting, money concepts, and place value while encouraging active participation in the classroom.
Yes… they seem small, but through BSF we can take the burden off of our teachers from purchasing all of these items themselves. They add up fast! Enter… our amazing community and Pheasant Phest.
