Bow Valley Schuetzenfest Bow Valley Schuetzenfest will be celebrated August 1st and 2nd, 2026.

Every 5 years, Schuetzenfest, or shooting festival, is held in the small German northeast Cedar County town in the same fashion our ancestors did back in the old country. The festival recognizes and remembers our local German heritage through food, dancing, music, and a shooting contest resulting in the crowning of a Schuetzenfest King.
