The monthly Bovina Senior Citizens Luncheon will be held on Wednesday, January 28 at 11:30 - 1:00 at the Bovina Senior Citizens Building. The annual 2026 Membership Fee of $30 per person is due and can be paid by cash or check at the Luncheon.

The 3rd Annual Parmer County Chili Cook-off, benefiting the Bovina Senior Citizens Association will be held at the XIT Center in Bovina on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 from 11:30 - 1:00 PM. Tickets are $15 in advance or at the door. For tickets, call David White at (832)545-7294 or Pam (Rhodes) White at (806)239-1825, or contact any member.

Anyone interested in sponsoring a Team, the entry fee is $100, which includes 10 pounds of meat (furnished by Cargill Meat Solutions) and two tickets. We still have a limited number of Team slots available and you use your own favorite recipe. There will be two winners of $150 prize money. One winner will be selected by the people that attend, and the second $100 prize will be chosen by the Parmer County Commissioners. This is a Parmer County wide event, and people of all ages are invited. It's a fun event and a great opportunity to see old friends from across Parmer County! Come sample some great chili and great company!

The March monthly Bovina Senior Citizens Association Inc Luncheon will be held from 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM, Wednesday, March 26, at the Bovina Senior Citizens building, 103 E. North Street in Bovina, TX. The monthly Luncheon is always held on the last Wednesday of each month.

Bring a pot luck dish and a desert, or just come and make a donation. Make new friends and visit with old friends. It's always a fun time... even more fun if YOU are there!

Residents from all over Parmer County are invited to come eat with us and visit with friends. Bring a covered dish and desert. We hope to see everyone there!
