4 years ago we got the goofiest dog we’ve ever met I’m from Kentucky.

His personality was like that of a child who had been raised barefoot in the backwoods of some small town nobody ever heard of. A wild child if you will…

While he carries the energy of 12 horses, he also carries love immensely. And what he lacks in home training, he makes up for in the best hugs and cuddles you could ever ask for.

Bojangles is still looking for that perfect home to love him and enjoy many hours of play and shenanigans.

Unfortunately Bojangles cannot live with other pets and small children be warned (think bulldozer), this handsome fellow would adore a family of only humans (and maybe fish) to take him in.

Bojangles has had his 15 minutes of fame, 4 years of waiting not so patiently, lots of shenanigans and he is ready to find a home!

For Christmas can we make his dreams come true?

Bojangles can’t be with other pets and will (with nothing but love) plow little ones down. He will be best with a family that has experience with hyper active, crazy, rock and roll ready dogs.

He means no harm, but much like others we’ve seen come through, he seems to have some misfires taking place upstairs. If dogs have ADHD, we are petty sure he does. Listening is NOT his strong point.

Bojangles will make a great pet but would like lots of playtime to satisfy his drive for excitement!

He’s not the brightest, but he’s definitely cute.

I think it’s pretty clear that black cats make some handsome kitties but we think this one is missing a few brain cells.

PJ is basically a loaf of tubby bread thats stretched out snoozong somewhere or he’s prowling about looking for food and other places to sleep, I guess.

Doesn’t seem to be a lot of complex thought taking place with PJ but he does love belly rubs and attention from his people. He is a young boy (9 months) but he thankfully never developed an obnoxious stage. Chill is his middle name, and your last name could be his soon!

If you need chill cat to soothe the vibes around your home, consider bringing PJ into the crew. He’s sure to bring the best attitude and blend right in!

We lost one of our own tonight. Sugar has been with us for years, as he came from a bad situation with some lasting mental scars. We knew he would never find a home, blind and convinced the world was a scary place, so we did all we could to make him happy for the last 5 years. He was a cherished part of the Perfect Paws family and he will leave an incredible lasting imprint on all of those who got the pleasure to meet him. His passing was very sudden and unexpected, what was a healthy happy dog at 4pm ended so abruptly. Hold your babies extra tight tonight and give them a kiss for me please. This is a tough one. 💔

Ladies and gentlemen, meet Trouble.

Ok, so his name isn’t really Trouble. It’s Grizzle Bear, but we call him trouble for short.

Standing all of like 12” tall, he thinks he’s the biggest boy here.

Grizzle Bear wants nothing more than to snack on the legs of your current pets while herding them all over the yard in hopes that they will tackle him and turn it into a WWE match. And a few kisses in between rounds.

This guy is super friendly, super playful, super cute, super healthy, basically super everything.

Would Grizzly love to live with kids? Heck yea! Another pets? Absolutely! Grizzly will appreciate anyone that will bounce off walls with him.

Grizzly is about a year old, fully vetted and ready to party it up at your house.

***LOOKING FOR A HOME!***

4 years and counting….

When we got Stella 4 years ago, she was already 437 years old. Now she’s older…

Seriously, we didn’t quite know what age to put for her so we’ve gone back and forth for 4 years on how exactly old she might be.

This past week Ms. Stella went to the vet to get a checkup and all that fun stuff. With her age, we decided to do dental work and make sure those teeth are all nice and shiny.

Before dental comes the bloodwork…

15 minute wait. Machine starts printing…

Print, print, print…

PERFECT! 🤩

Old lady had impeccable bloodwork! Nice!

Off to dental she goes.

6ish hours later, I stroll through the door to a 100lb, shined up, brushed out, cleaned eared, nail clipped, shiny toothed, organ healthy, very drunken girl.

Whew! What a big day for Stella.

Off to the shelter we went, back to her cell, all shined up.

I know Stella had to be thinking she was being prepped for a hot date, but in reality, there’s nobody coming to pick her up. 😢

Nobody to see her shiny new teeth. Nobody to go home and celebrate another fabulous check up with. Nobody to pamper her after her big day. Nobody to show off that sleek coat to. Nobody but the other dogs hanging around, waiting for someone to pick them up too.

So here Stella sits, all purdy’d up and nobody to show off too. As a matter of fact, in 4 years, she’s only had one applicant and they ended up going a different direction.

Stella isn’t a bad girl, so we’re not sure why she hasn’t found a home.

Stella loves playing with balls (she’s quite good at soccer!), she’s got enough s***k to get out and play but not enough to plow you over, she isn’t a messy dog, she’s potty trained, she loves people of all ages, she’s obviously a beautiful girl, not picky or needy, just an old girl who would like a place to lay and a person to lick the ball around with.

Stella cannot be with other pets, as she thinks she is enough princess for any household, why would they need more than her?

I know it’s a long shot, considering I’ve been trying to find her a home for 4 years, but can you guys please help me help Stella? Can we please share this post and talk to friends and family and coworkers all about Stella? Is there any way possible we can find this girl a home while she’s still young enough to play ball? ⚽️
