The names of an additional 189 individuals who have served or are serving in the active forces, the reserves or the national guard and who have resided in Bountiful, Centerville, North Salt Lake, Woods Cross or West Bountiful sometime during their lives were engraved on Walls 4A and 4B on Thursday, May 21.

The photos show the template that is applied to the wall with the names, the sandblasting of the names into the wall and the removal of the template once the engraved names have been spray painted white.

Hey Veterans, is your name on the wall? Veterans Park in Bountiful honors all South Davis County veterans. This is a wonderful opportunity to have your name, or a loved one’s, engraved on this beautiful memorial wall.

Deadline to submit names: February 14, 2026. Names are engraved once a year in time for Memorial Day. There is no charge to have names engraved on the walls.

Those eligible to have their names on the walls are:
1. Either currently residing in or having resided in South Davis County (Bountiful, Centerville, North Salt Lake, West Bountiful or Woods Cross) sometime during their life; and
2. Honorably discharged from, or currently serving in, the Active Forces, the National Guard, Reserves or the Merchant Marine.

Submit names to be engraved by going to bountifulveteranspark.org and entering the names as follows:

· Full First Name, Middle Initial, Last Name. Note: If the person is known by their Middle Name, then enter the Initial for the First Name and the Full Middle Name and Full Last Name. Women may include their Full Maiden and Married Last Names in place of the Middle Initial. For example: Jane Smith Doe.

· It is o.k. to use a nickname that an individual was widely known by as long as there is only one Full name, one initial and one Last Name. We cannot accept “John (Jack) Q Smith” for example. In this case, the first name submitted must be either John or Jack.
