Happy Monday to you all. Here is a reminder to not over do the food trucks before competitions. Don’t do what I do almost every time and feast on all the delicious fried goodies. Stay hydrated and eat well. Happy piping and drumming this coming weekend to all that are attending the The Caledonian Club of San Francisco 160th Games and good luck to the bands as well. Have a good tune!

🎶 Why did you join the pipe band? 🥁

Be honest. Nobody joins a pipe band because they enjoy having free time.

Maybe you thought, “I like music.”
Maybe someone said, “It’ll be fun.”
Maybe you saw the uniform and thought, “Yeah… I could pull that off.”

And now look at you.

You own a bagpipe. You willingly wake up early for rehearsals. You have strong opinions about reeds. You discuss drones like they’re a legitimate financial investment. And somehow, you’re spending your weekends traveling across the country to make extremely loud music with your friends.

Congratulations. There is no cure. 😂
