Wasatch & District Pipe Band WDPB is a competitive and performing Bagpipe Band based out of Bountiful, Utah. We have 3 competitive bands.

Performs all over Northern Utah, and competes in the Western US, Canada, the United Kingdom, and as attended the World Pipe Band Championships held in Glasgow Scotland. The Wasatch & District Pipe Band was founded at the end of 2004 and is comprised of members from all ages, backgrounds, and levels of talent. There are some performances that just hit a little differently. 🇺🇸

On September 30, pipers from the Wasatch & District Grade 4 Pipe Band had the honor of being invited to perform the U.S. National Anthem before the Weber State Men’s Soccer match.

Taking the field, hearing the pipes carry across the stadium, and representing Wasatch & District was an experience we were proud to be part of.

A huge thank you to Weber State for inviting our pipers to help open the match and for giving us the opportunity to share the sound of the Great Highland Bagpipe with a whole new crowd.

Great music. Great atmosphere. And a pretty incredible way to start a match.

🥁 YOUR PIPE BAND JOURNEY STARTS HERE!

Think joining a pipe band means you have to learn the bagpipes? Think again!

Our Grade 5 band is on the lookout for some new faces to join our TENOR DRUM CORPS, and you might be exactly who we’re looking for!

Tenor drumming is one of the most accessible ways to experience the excitement, camaraderie, and tradition of playing in a pipe band. From mastering your first flourish to performing alongside a full ensemble, there’s something pretty special about finding your place in the circle.

Never picked up a tenor mallet? Perfect. We’ll start there!

We’re kicking off our Tenor Drum Group Class, where you’ll develop your skills, explore flourishing, work on rhythm and tone, and learn alongside a fantastic group of musicians.

📅 Thursdays | 5:15–6:00 PM 📍 Wherever the band is rehearsing 🎶 Starting October 1, 2026 ✅ All experience levels welcome!
