Organizer Lary Walker held a community hygiene drive that drew volunteers and donations, with kits going to Pay It Fur-ward, a nonprofit that serves unhoused people and their pets.

On May 31st we have an outreach event with Ascending to Health Respite Care and we could really use the community’s help with this one!

We have created a separate wishlist specifically for this outreach event so we can make sure we are bringing exactly what is needed for the individuals and pets we will be assisting that day.

These events take a tremendous amount of supplies and support behind the scenes, and every single donation makes a difference whether it’s one item or twenty.

Pay It Fur-Ward wants to give a huge thank you to our incredible veterinary partner, The Pet Cross Inc, for reaching out today and donating a bunch of frozen meals for us to bring over to the individuals in our transitional housing program.

This is exactly what true community partnership looks like, organizations coming together to care for people and pets alike.

We absolutely love working alongside you all and are so grateful for everything you do for this community. Your compassion and generosity never go unnoticed.

STOP SCROLLING 🐾 THIS COULD CHANGE LIVES

We need your help, and we need it now.

Today gave us some momentum, and we are incredibly thankful for every donation, every share, every tag, and every kind word. But the truth is:

We are still far from our goal, and this opportunity will not wait forever.

We have the chance to secure land that would allow us to build something this community has never seen before.

A place for people and pets to rebuild.
A place for sobriety and second chances.
A place for safety, healing, stability, and hope.

This project will create:

Safe parking for those living in vehicles
Sober living housing
Transitional housing
Domestic violence support
Safe camping options
A foster program for dogs whose owners are in crisis
And additional life changing resources

Behind the scenes, this is no longer just an idea.

We are actively building the framework with healthcare providers, mental health professionals, housing partners, peer support groups, skilled tradesmen, dog trainers, and more.

The vision is ready.
The support network is forming.
The need is urgent.

Pay It Fur Ward collects food, blankets, leashes and medical supplies, then brings them directly to homeless pet owners with care and respect. Washed blankets, nutritious food, and basic medical supplies mean safer nights and healthier days for both pets and their humans.
