Our 16 Haitian kids are getting ready for school, including our new child, Shelby.
The economy is tough and employment is sparse, but PIPH (Partners in Parenting Haiti) focuses on providing foster homes, schooling, and health care for orphans and abandoned children in Jeremie. Thanks for your interest, we appreciate your support!

2010 - terrible earthquake hits Haiti and a lot of kids become orphans. 2016 - hurricane Matthew hits, and the nightmare is here again.

This is sweet Dina. She is in third year of preschool. As you can see Dina has lost her front teeth. In the Waldorf philosophy you can’t learn to read until you lose your teeth. Well there must be some truth to it... because Dina is now learning to read. Thumbs up for this sweet kid and for her gracious sponsors.

This is Carto, he is in 8th grade and a very good student. He had typhoid recently, but thankfully he recovered with antibiotics. Thumbs up for modern medicine!

It's official, all the children are well. Though many of them lack a roof over their head, had flooding, lost their clothes and documents.

None of them have a roof over their head anymore and have lost so much, but we are very thankful to tell you that all but two of our children have been located and are ok (the last two live outside of town and Renel, our social worker, has not reached them yet, but will soon).
Now we will begin to help these children and their families rebuild their lives. Will let you know soon how you can help.
