Friends! Next Friday there is a one-day food drive event! Community members are encouraged to drive up and drop off donations directly to Sheriff’s Office staff, who will be on hand to assist with unloading donated items. Up to 10% of greenhouse gasses come from food waste. Our Retail Rescue program recovers nutritous, safe-to-eat food from area retailers that would otherwise be discarded! Last year we recovered ~248,000lbs! That's the equivalent of 116 gas-powered cars driven for a year. 👏🥕🌳
