All rooms include a fully equipped kitchenette, a private bedroom with a king bed, and a living room with a pull-out sleeper sofa. The Homewood Suites is conveniently located next to the Meadows on the Parkway shopping center, which has several restaurants, a Dollar Tree, and a Safeway. There is also a nearby bus stop, allowing easy access to Imig Music. Flutists can share rooms too!

So excited to share that our registration and information pages are up for your consideration. Join me for Panoramic Flutist 2024- we are going to go deep into shared experience with chamber music projects, Griffes Poem- from the inside out, and explore issues of self confidence/imposter syndrome and belonging. I can’t wait!! The amazing Lisa Garner Santa and Chelsea Tanner are my partners this year. Please share and apply-applications are due March 15th and capped at 30 flutists (ages 18-100!)

Meet one of our amazing guest artists for Panoramic Flutist: Dr. Lisa Garner Santa!

Lisa Garner Santa currently serves as Artist-Performer and Professor of Flute, and Associate Director of Learning and Teaching, at Texas Tech University where she enjoys a diverse career as teacher, recitalist, soloist, and chamber musician. Garner Santa's playing has been described as "the kind of tone I prefer - rich, colorful, perfectly in control, and always in tune. Her phrasing is all well-shaped and thoughtful...a truly remarkable artist with dazzling musical ability." (American Record Guide)

Dr. Garner Santa is a certified Professional Yoga Instructor through the Kripalu Center, directs Yoga Shala Lubbock, and teaches Yoga and the Creative Arts: Philosophy and Practice, a core curriculum course at TTU.

At Panoramic Flutist, Professor Buyse will be leading a class titled, "Listening Better," a practical discussion on listening and ways to develop more confidence in aural recognition. The class will use Taffanel & Gaubert exercises, Reichert patterns, transposing Bizet Entr'acte by recognizing intervals, ear-to-hand practice, and more!

The Panoramic Flutist (deadline one month away!) welcomes alumni Adam Sadberry back as part of our guest faculty for 2022.

In addition to a recital and masterclasses, Adam will present a class titled “Using Your Identity to Create a Relevant Voice in Music.” We will discuss intertwining music and activism through looking inward at the self, outward toward the world, and through the structures of society.
