Did you miss Rev. Nicole preaching on How Strength Becomes Stronger? Pulling from teachings in the Gospel of Truth, she preached "In a time when the truth is hard to find and in some parts of our life when it feels not just out of fashion but dangerous to speak it, to care about it, to tend to it. I am wondering if the truth is in fact something that builds upon the strengths that we have. I am wondering if it is something that can be hard to hard to find. But if we are willing, it does eventually lead us to something stronger, something better."

Sunday Rev. Nicole will be preaching on the Gospel of Truth. The Gospel of Truth is an ancient Gnostic text from the 2nd century AD, likely written by the prominent teacher Valentinus. Discovered in Egypt in 1945 as part of the Nag Hammadi library, it frames salvation not as forgiveness of sin, but as overcoming spiritual ignorance through divine self-knowledge (gnosis). We'll be joined by Dr. Celine Lillie from CU Boulder for Adult Education afterwards.

Today, Community United Church of Christ, is announcing that it is committing $40,000 to support the residents of the San Lazaro mobile home park in their effort to purchase the property to prevent an investor from buying the park. Boulder County has a law which gives mobile home residents 120 days to purchase the land themselves, which is what the residents are actively pursuing.
