Join us on March 18th, 2026, at 7:30 AM for an inspiring program with Lynn Emrick, Director of Development at the RISE Foundation.

RISE was created to address a serious challenge within Colorado’s foster care system. Nearly 50% of foster families were leaving within their first year or after their first placement, often because the experience can feel isolating and overwhelming. RISE works to change that by building community support systems that surround foster and adoptive families with encouragement, resources, and practical help.

Lynn’s connection to RISE began as a volunteer, where she helped launch three RISE support teams at her children’s schools. Through this work, she witnessed firsthand the powerful difference a supportive community can make. After several years of volunteering, she joined the RISE staff a year ago and now serves as Director of Development, helping expand the organization’s impact across Colorado.

🚰🌍 March is Water and Sanitation Month 💧🌱

Clean water changes everything — health, education, economic opportunity, and peace.
Rotary International knows that access to safe water and sanitation is a human right, and works year-round to support water systems, hygiene education, and sustainable solutions across the globe.

But in March, we turn up the focus. Why?
🔹 Nearly 1 in 3 people globally still lack access to safe drinking water.
🔹 Waterborne diseases are a leading cause of death — especially for children.
🔹 March 22 marks World Water Day, reminding us how urgent and vital this work is.

💪 At Rotary Club of Boulder Flatirons, we're proud to support the Mighty Water Project — a powerful initiative focused on:

✅ Family-based clean water systems
✅ Hands-on education and hygiene training
✅ Long-term, affordable solutions that last
✅ Community-led implementation and support
✅ Data-driven, global impact

🌊 Getting water is only half the issue. The real challenge? Ensuring it's safe where it matters most: in the home. That’s where Mighty Water's “Dance to Clean™” system makes all the difference — no tools, no disassembly, just clean water and better health.

💬 “What do you need to improve your life?” — We ask. Families answer. And we act.
This March, let’s recommit to the cause:
🔹 Donate
🔹 Spread the word
🔹 Help communities take control of their health

Because water is life — and every drop matters. 💧
