Apply to be a Volunteer Harvest Leader with Community Fruit Rescue today! These community fruit harvests support peaceful coexistence with local black bears, reduce food waste, and provide fresh food to people in need. Volunteers will receive a $30 stipend for each harvest led, too! 🐻🍎

Join the Community Fruit Rescue family as a Harvest Leader this season! We're looking for a handful of enthusiastic individuals to lead at least one community fruit harvest per week during our 12-week harvest season (typically +/- August-October).

👉 NEW THIS YEAR: A $30 stipend for each harvest led! 👈

Upon completing a brief training, Harvest Leaders will work with CFR's Harvest Coordinator, tree owners, and volunteers to: pick up and transport harvest equipment, brief volunteers with harvest protocols, share best practices on living with wildlife, harvest fruit, weigh and divide the fruit, and transport back to our harvest hub.

Interested? Fill out our application form: https://bit.ly/harvest-leader-app and contact [email protected] with any questions.
