Citation recipients from our police will be taken into custody for fashion makeovers. Careful, they have fuzzy handcuff and bootywackers! CWMF is ALWAYS looking for costumes and clothing. Please bring any costumes, accessories and clothing items in clean condition that you no longer need or bring something wonderful to make someone’s day. We will be accepting donation all weekend. And appreciate your contributions so that we can costume the world! It is important to note that, in line with BM's decommodification, gifting and immediacy principles, CWMF costume giveaway is not about giving products but empowering experiences. It is true that the sight of a store full of free costumes makes eyes dilate, pulses quicken and drooling has been known to occur, but we request that you fight the consumerist urge to "acquire"-- to grab armfuls of stuff, to scurry away with thoughts of future times to wear or how there are others you want to supply. Instead we suggest that you stay in the moment, put something on that makes you feel special and that if you find something absolutely perfect and you see someone else admiring it, please consider taking it off and giving it to them. Playfulness, kindness and generosity are the coins of our realm and we hope you will share.

We at CWMF would like to remember Dan Zahner. Dan was a tremendous contributor to Wardrobe MalFUNKtion, just as Stephen DeNorscia was. Dan built the stand that held the disco ball mannequin. Everyone that received a funny name tag with camp, Dan and I made those together. He helped create signs and some of our swag we gifted. We remember Dan and grieve his loss, our love goes out to his family during this difficult time. Godspeed Dan, it was a pleasure to have you as a part of our family.

Camp Wardrobe MalFUNKtion is an experimental free fashion station and burlesque camp at a variety of festivals and events. Guests are encouraged to visit our skilled wardrobe engineers and fashion technicians for an innovative and creative new look, and then take a saunter down our runway to the pulsating, gyrating beats of our stellar DJ’s.
