🌸 Sponsored by BTEC, the Colorado Women's Advisory Council hosted our very first event — and it was everything we hoped it would be.

We see you. The daily responsibilities, the pressures, the weight of building a life abroad without the arms of extended family close by. This space was created for YOU — to breathe, recharge, and pour back into yourself.

Women came together for movement, reflection, relaxation, and a shared meal around one table. 💛

This was only the beginning. To every woman who showed up, and to everyone who made it happen — thank you from the heart. 🙏🏼

برعايه منظمه الاشجار المثمرة BTEC .. فعاليه الاولى من نوعها للمجلس الاستشاري النسائي في كولورادو ..
لان النساء في مجتمعاتنا تتعرض يوميا للكثير من المسؤوليات والضغوطات وخصوصا في الغربه لا يوجد عائله كبيره للمساعده .. فكان لابد من وجود هذه المساحه التي تعيد شحن الطاقه الايجابيه للنساء عن طريق تمارين رياضيه ،تمارين العصف الذهني ،تمارين الاسترخاء، والطعام المشترك ..
وهكذا كانت فعاليتنا الاولى نشكر جميع من ساهم بنشاطات هذه الفعاليه ونشكر جميع السيدات اللواتي حضرن ..

🌱 نُقدّم لكم "المجلس الاستشاري النسائي"

لطالما حملت النساء في مجتمعاتنا العربية والمسلمة على عاتقهن مسؤولية رفاهية أسرهن، وغالباً ما كان ذلك دون توفر مساحات مخصصة لصحتهن، وسعادتهن، وتعزيز الروابط الاجتماعية فيما بينهن.

واليوم، ها هنّ يبادرن بإنشاء هذه المساحات بأنفسهن.

يُعد "المجلس الاستشاري النسائي" مجموعة من النساء اللواتي يصُغن برامجهن وأنشطتهن بأنفسهن — بما يشمل الصحة الجسدية والنفسية، والهوايات، والترفيه، والأنشطة المجتمعية. لقد تشكّل هذا المجلس من قلب المجتمع ولأجل المجتمع، وذلك بالشراكة مع منظمة "Blossoming Trees to Empower Communities" (BTEC).

هؤلاء النساء لسن خبيرات من الخارج جُلبن لحل مشكلة ما، بل هنّ عضوات من مجتمعنا نفسه، يقدن المبادرة مستنداتٍ إلى معرفة نبعت من تجاربهن الشخصية وجهودهن الذاتية.

عندما تقود النساء، تزدهر الأسر وتنمو المجتمعات. 🌿

🌱 Introducing the Women's Advisory Council

Women in our Muslim and Arab communities have always carried their families' wellbeing — often without spaces built for their own health, joy, and connection.

Now they're building it themselves.

The Women's Advisory Council is a group of women shaping their own programming — physical & mental health, hobbies, entertainment, and community — formed from the community and for the community, in partnership with Blossoming Trees to Empower Communities (BTEC).

These women aren't outside experts brought in to fix a problem — they're members of our own community, leading with knowledge they've lived and built themselves.

When women lead, families and communities grow. 🌿

👉 Follow along as we introduce the council members, share with a woman who needs this, or support the work.

On June 18, 2026 we had the honor of partnering with The Refuge – Broomfield to host "Healing in a Fractured World" — a community engagement night centered on listening to and learning from the Muslim community in Colorado.

Our panelists shared what it feels like to be Muslim in America right now — the experiences often unseen, the pain often unspoken — and the dreams they carry for a more welcoming world.

The audience showed up with open hearts, questions were asked, and myths were dismantled. Thank you to every panelist, every voice, and every person who walked through those doors. You made this night what it was.

We are so glad you can join The Refuge and Blossoming Trees To Empowering Communities tonight for this special community gathering centered on learning from our Muslim neighbors and finding ways to be people of welcome and community healers in a fractured world.

A few details are below:

1. Time is 6-8pm at The Refuge located at11600 Quay Street #200 Broomfield 80020. Try to be on time if you can as we want to have as much time as possible to engage together.

2. We'll have snacks and soft drinks.

3. This is a simple and unplugged gathering with a chance to listen to a panel of community members, engage with ways to reflect and respond, and hopefully all leave with some shifts that will help us embody change in the circles we are in.
