SBS is a global leader in entrepreneurship training for women living in extreme poverty.

711 entrepreneurs. 541 women. A 96% average increase in income.

Behind every number is a story of someone learning, adapting, and building something new.

Through Project Kunihira in Fort Portal, Uganda, Street Business School worked with local Community-Based Trainers to bring entrepreneurship training closer to communities. Graduates strengthened businesses, built new skills and found new confidence to invest in their futures.

One of them is Grace, a mother of nine who turned a simple lesson in record-keeping into a new approach to growing her business.

Her story is a reminder that you don’t always need to start big—you can start where you are and build from there.
