We understand that this generation tends to align its career path with purpose as much or more than with compensation or conventional prestige. Harnessing this passion, maximizing this creative, intelligent and entrepreneurial demographic base, and empowering and inspiring them to get involved is imperative to creating real, lasting change. What is needed is a global, connected community of passionate young people designing innovative solutions for our planet – today and tomorrow. By connecting young people to each other, and using their work to inspire one another, we will also connect them to nature, and demonstrate that one person can make a difference for all life, every day. Through the support of our donors, we are able to provide online project toolkits that are lowering the threshold for new change-makers to create action in their communities; are facilitating a mentorship program with the United States Department of Interior; are a hub for international environmental news stories written by under 35 year olds; and are implementing new forms of activism around the world with project leaders stationed in over 35 different countries.
