Sponsortruth.org organizes donor-sponsored public education on the impact of diet regarding three specific concerns: health, environment, and animal welfare. Our non-profit utilizes elements of the increasingly popular crowd-funding model. We organize a variety of public education campaigns, each emphasizing the three aforementioned concerns to varying degrees, targeting different demographics, an
d showcasing different approaches. Donors sponsor specific campaigns based on the message they want to emphasize, the demographic they want to reach, and the approach they feel is most effective. Thus, sponsortruth.org provides a unique experience for donors, allowing them to tailor the allocation of their charitable contributions. All public education campaigns are presented and funded through a user-friendly website displaying locations and message content of all available campaigns. Potential donors can use an interactive map to find a location of interest, with sites across the United States. They can then view the proposed content of the campaign, including message text and any associated images. Education campaigns will utilize public advertising space, including but not limited to billboards, bus shelter/metro station posters, and poster space within public transit. Potential donors will be provided with all relevant details of the location, including the cost per week and the number of estimated views per week when available.
