Food Not Bombs: Boulder

Food Not Bombs: Boulder "Food Not Bombs supports sharing, respect, peace, cooperation, dignity, a nurturing of the environment". We serve every Saturday at the Bandshell at 4pm.

We serve free vegetarian food, rescued from grocery stores, to all who come hungry. Food Not Bombs shares free vegan and vegetarian meals with the hungry in over 1,000 cities around the world to protest war, poverty and the destruction of the environment. Here in Boulder, we rescue and redistribute food and organize weekly meals to share with Boulder's unhoused population. We are sponsored by Saint Aidan's Church and Boulder Food Rescue, who help support Food Not Bombs with resources.

So for those who didn’t know. Violet is home with me and I have custody. Will be finalized eventually. I don’t know anything about her mom. We have just about everything we need. I’m going to put my PayPal down in case you would like to help us out though because we still could use some things. Waiting on the county to put us on Colorado Works. I hope everyone is having a great day. I have a pork butt in the oven and it’s smelling yummy. Heres my PP account .Love yall

Good news! On the 2nd and 3rd Saturdays of the month, we'll team up with Journey Church to serve a big, beautiful meal at 4pm at the Bandshell. On the 1st and 4th Saturdays it will just be Food Not Bombs (as far as we know), but we'll stick with 4pm to keep things consistent! Thanks

We'll switch to serving dinners at 4pm Saturdays at the Bandshell going forward, as Grace Commons is serving lunch on Saturdays. Thanks!

Big thanks to Metacarbon Organic Farm and Bosco (the poodle in the park) for donating to yesterday's meal. And to Saint Aidan's for the use of their kitchen, and paper goods!
*Reminder- we will NOT be cooking in St. Aidan's on 11/20, but still plan to be in the park around 1pm for a free vegetarian meal share. Send a message if you'd like to contribute in any way. Thanks, all!

This Saturday we will meet at 10am at Saint Aidan's church, and plan to cook from 10-12 before heading downtown to serve. Big thanks to Saint Aidan's for offering the use their kitchen, and supporting Food Not Bombs!

Here is the address: 2425 Colorado Ave, Boulder, CO 80302

Please park behind the church and enter through the back door, marked "kitchen entrance". We will begin cooking at 10am, please don't arrive before then. Feel free to get in touch via messenger with any questions.

*We will NOT be at Saint Aidan's the following Saturday (11/20), as there is a football game. In general, however, we will be able to use Saint Aidan's kitchen.
All who join at Saint Aidan's must be vaccinated, and masks are required while indoors. Sorry if this is a barrier for anyone- please feel free to join at the park if this presents an issue!

Thanks so much and see you Saturday.
