Each year, Share-A-Gift holds a free holiday gift shop for families in need in the Boulder Valley School District of Colorado.

Local families and businesses contribute new and gently-used toys, bikes, and money to make the holidays magical for every child.

Last year we distributed 12,855 gifts to 1,967 children serving 812 local families!

For 10 years, Ralph Bailey (Moving Consultant Extraordinaire) has had his crews load up bikes (this past year there were 100) and donated toys from storage to bring to our Toy Shop location. They work hard before and after our distribution to families. Owner Glen Taylor has an A+ rating with BBB. When you're looking for a local & trustworthy moving company, call them. www.klattmoving.com

Do you wonder where the leftover toys go after our Top Shop Day? One place is to the Northern Colorado Intertribal Powwow Association. Here's a brief summary of their note to Share a Gift.
" You made a huge difference in making this a better season for our local Native American families in need."
" I am so happy and it brings me to tears to know that people care in this world"
" Blessings for everyone who helped my family. My kids LOVE their bikes and I am happy that they will be more active outside."
" Pilamaya (Thank you in Lakota)! Thank you for everything you all have done for me and my family. Much Love and Respect to you all. "
"I LOVE, lOvE, LoVE the gifts that you all so generously donated. My kids were so excited and happy to be able to open their presents. I loved watching their eyes and the joy it brought to them. "
" Please know that prayers were said and songs were sung for each one of you at our gift distribution dinner. We pray for continued goodness, kindness, and compassion to prevail. "

This is Why We do THIS!

Wow, we've had amazing volunteer help with getting bikes ready for our Toy Shop! Cub Scout pack 372 cleaned all the bikes for the mechanics. The bike mechanics repaired 202 bicycles. Plus, we had a crew from Waste Management that bought and assembled 76 bikes for Share-a-Gift! Many thanks to all those involved with getting these bikes ready for future riders!
