WARNO-
Doing the work is not the problem its seed money ( Its always money to farm)
Billions were wasted overseas on foreign countries that never did a thing to improve the American farmers situation. We seen them decimated by foreign investors into our food supply.
Imagine if America invested truly money to assist in creating future farmers from the military not only GI funding for Agriculture but seed monies for Veteran farmers post military enlistment. Americans to invest in a program to assist graduates in buying large swathes of land to farm and create future communities ? This is what we been lacking .
The U.S. government provides significant agricultural subsidies, which include funding for food aid programs that purchase American-grown crops for international assistance. In 2023, for example, USAID spent around $2.1 billion annually on U.S. agricultural products for food aid worldwide, supporting both domestic farmers and global food security.
What if we focused on providing ways to increase American Veterans to agricultural land to keep us healthy?
We care about solving problems
ReGroup Foundation we were the pioneers at Transition , our Table at the National Coalition for Homeless Veterans in Washington D.C. , 2015 the largest gathering of V.A. Directors ,Non Profits and Corporations . ReGroup Foundation was the only organization talking about Transition and the cures to changing the curve to get not allow veterans to the oit falls to lifting them off the streets . After 10 years plus we are happy to be pushed out of buisness!
That is correct.
We are pivoting and will be giving our reasons that we are glad we are out of buisness in our Mission
( Its Great Thing !)
Your years of support of the mission and the Non Profit has been so appreciated but we have never wanted to waste a penny or a second of a voluntees time . During Covid and then economic downturns we never wasted a thing to accomplish a mission to help a veteran. We know when its time to go after another problem and let go when we seen the needs are being met.
This does not mean with our history of solving unique problems of the homeless veteran is off the table we are never going to turn our back .
Great things are coming to you the Future Veteran Farmer !
