Police in Lakewood, Colorado, are still investigating those involved in a fight that broke out at a youth baseball game. Footage of the incident has gone national and, according to reports, the altercation broke out after disagreements with the teenage umpire and there were multiple injuries. UPDATE...

The rise in parents and spectators who harass, threaten and even physically assault game officials is jeopardizing youth sports in South Carolina. The SC referee shortage is most striking in youth soccer, baseball and basketball.

We’re putting on a BBQ for the Grand Re-Opening of the San Lorenzo Lumber store in Santa Cruz. Proceeds benefit SLV Hoops, Cougar Softball, SPIN Softball and the other youth programs we support with financial and equipment contributions. We’ll be onsite cooking from 11-3 each day through Sunday.
