Seattle Children’s Hospital today announced a $7 million gift from Charles and Barbara Burnett and Tessera to help launch the Alyssa Burnett Adult Life Program to provide lifelong services for people with autism and other developmental disabilities.

This week some very important testimony was given to the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform regarding autism. Never before had self advocates been invited to testify...until now. Congratulations and many thanks to Ari Ne'eman and Michael Carley for sharing the real needs of adults with autism. Thank you for raising your voices in the hopes of positive movement forward!

Mission accomplished! Thanks to our Board President, Ron Yutrzenka, his son Matteo, Paige's mom Rannoda DeChambeau, Trisa and Michael Harris, Paige DeChambeau, Michael Althauser, Jennifer and Jeff Monteleone for their hard work in digging up weeds and beautifying the outside of the center. Big thanks to Mark Liechty of Fix it Once Repairs and Remodels for donating his time to hang up white boards and bulletin boards throughout the center. We are so blessed! THANK YOU!!
