At the heart of The Asani Project are the voices of the girls we serve🌸

Our Focus Group Discussions provided a safe space for students to reflect on their experiences with menstrual health education, share what has changed, and tell us how we can do even better. Their feedback continues to guide our journey toward creating more period-friendly schools.

When teachers are empowered with the right knowledge, they create classrooms where girls feel informed, supported, and confident. 💜

Every testimonial is a reminder that menstrual health education starts with educators who are ready to lead meaningful conversations.

The real impact isn't measured only in numbers. It's seen in every hand raised, every question asked, and every girl who chooses confidence over silence💜

Meet our fabulous TASSEL Rising founding members — Noor Shah (16), Anya Ahmed (17), Zara Shah (12), Reya Ahmed (15), and Ariana Sepehr (13) — young changemakers learning about period poverty and stigma while taking action to support vulnerable youth in their own community.

Together, they assembled menstrual dignity kits for teens served by The Home for Little Wanderers through Project Dignity Boston, proving that young people can create meaningful change both locally and globally.

Thank you, girls, for leading with compassion, courage, and purpose. 💜

Celebrating our partner Baithak - Challenging Taboos it and the incredible educators helping transform how menstruation is discussed in schools.

By equipping teachers with the knowledge, confidence, and tools to support students, Baithak is helping create learning environments where girls can ask questions without shame, seek support when needed, and stay engaged in their education.

Together through TASSEL’s Asani Project, we are working toward a future where periods never stand in the way of learning.

A historic victory for menstrual equity in Pakistan.

TASSEL Congratulates Mahwarijustice, Mahnoor Omer, and Advocate Ahsan Jehangir Khan for helping secure the removal of the sales tax on period products.

Only 12% of women in Pakistan use pads or tampons.

This tax cut won't solve period poverty—but it removes one barrier standing between girls and the products they need.

Because periods are not a luxury.

One generation grew up with myths and silence. The next is growing up with knowledge, confidence, and support.

Our work with mothers is helping create open conversations at home, where girls feel comfortable seeking guidance and mothers feel empowered to provide it.

Together, we are breaking the cycle of silence around menstruation.

Real change happens when organizations share a vision for girls' futures.

Thank you to DIL for believing that every girl deserves to learn in a school where menstruation is understood, supported, and never a barrier to education. Together, we're creating period-friendly schools where girls can learn with confidence, dignity, and hope.

Because when girls stay in school, they unlock brighter futures.
