Empowering men in Massachusetts to transform their lives from recovery through comprehensive health, wellness, and support initiatives

02/15/2026

We are grateful to The Lenny Zakim Fund for believing in our mission and investing in the lives of men in Massachusetts who are navigating recovery and reentry. This grant is not just funding . . . it's a bridge!

The Lenny Zakim Fund listens to grassroots organizations like Lives Are Meant to be Changed and gives us the unrestricted support we need to meet people where they are.

With this support, Lives Are Meant to be Changed can continue providing recovery support, parenting programs, mental health resources, and reentry services that help fathers rebuild their lives and strengthen their families.

Thank you, The Lenny Zakim Fund, for seeing the potential and power of grassroots leadership and for walking alongside us as we work to break cycles of addiction, unemployment, and recidivism. Together, we are proving that lives truly are meant to be changed.

The Question of the Day . . .

This is a dynamic dialogue from Garrick Thames, founder and CEO of Lives Are Meant to be Changed. His story reminds us that transformation is never a "one-time" event . . . it's an ongoing journey! In the video, when Garrick pulled a card out of the deck, it wasn't just a card, but a moment of reflection. We all carry our own "deck" of experiences, challenges, and lessons waiting to be revealed, whether you are a father, mother, leader, or friend--this message speaks to us all. Garrick is inviting you to share your feedback and/or suggestion!
